Meet the ingredients in our new Cleansing Balm

Perhaps you’re new to cleansing balms, or maybe you’re already a balm addict looking to try something new? Not all balms are made equal, so read on as we take a closer look at the key ingredients​ that make our new Melting Moment Cleansing Balm a must-have addition to your daily routine.

From routine to ritual

The first thing you’ll notice when using the Melting Moment Cleansing Balm is its beautiful orange hue, thanks to natural pigments from Iron Oxides and mineral Natural Curcumin (Turmeric), and its beautiful citrusy scent, which we’ve curated from a bespoke blend natural oils to deliver notes of Tangerine, Orange, Ylang Ylang, Yuzu and Vanilla.

This luxurious balm-to-oil formula contains a blend of barrier fortifying natural oils and is loaded with antioxidant-rich, active ingredients essential to a deep, nourishing cleanse.  Its waterless formulation is applied to the skin as a solid balm and gently massaged over the skin while it instantly melts underneath fingertips, effortlessly removing all traces of the day from the skin’s surface such as makeup, SPF, and daily grime without over-stripping the skin’s naturally occurring, protective lipids. This means Melting Moment Cleansing Balm is suitable for all skin types, including oily and sensitive skins.

An intelligent, active formulation

This multi-tasking formula is packed full of effective, active ingredients to melt away your day. Antioxidant-rich Grapeseed Oil delivers omega fatty acids and naturally occurring Vitamin E, helping to protect the skin from free radical damage and environmental aggressors. As it’s an occlusive oil, Grapeseed Oil weaves a moisturising film over the skin to lock in hydration, while its anti-inflammatory benefits help calm, soothe, and support a healthy skin barrier function.

To further hydrate and soothe we’ve included Bisabolol, an extract from Chamomile that is rich in Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), to deeply moisturise, as well as calm and soothe, reducing the appearance of redness.

Locally sourced Native Australian botanicals Wild Orange Leaf Extract and Australian Native Sandalwood Seed Oil celebrate our diverse and beautiful landscape while providing skin with resilience and support. Wild Orange Leaf Extract is rich in Phyto-Compounds such as Amino Acids to support skin barrier function, and Benzoic Acid and Phenolics, which are high in antioxidants and work to promote skin renewal. This sustainably derived extract helps to boost skin resilience and assists in protecting the skin from free radical damage.

Australian Native Sandalwood Seed Oil is a luxurious emollient and natural oil rich in Ximenynic Acid – one of the rarest essential fatty acids in the plant world – which has natural emulsifying properties, assisting to control excess sebum production and contribute to improved skin tone and hydration.
